Spring 2010 Wine TourThe wine tour on May 16, 2010 was a huge success! Thank you to all of our customers that decided to come along and to all the wineries that were kind enough to host our group. Below are some of the great pictures we took while on the tour. We started at 8AM at Vintner's Cellar Waterloo where we loaded up on the limo bus provided by Brentwood Livery. If you need luxurious transportation, then this is the company to call! Who wants coffee? Nobody? How about wine? What goes best with wine? Cheese and Fruit of Course! Joseph's Estate Winery Our first stop was at Joseph's Estate. They were having a special on Pinot Grigio the day we were there. Look for their wines on the wine lists of your favorite restaurants. Dr. Joseph walked us through the wine making process and educated us on what is involved in running a winery. Joseph's Estate ferments and ages their wine in large stainless steel containers to produce a high quality wine. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the bottling area of the winery. It must be amazing to see it in action! Monika regretted not having a straw when we were in the warehouse...... Dr. Jospeh provided us with a tasting of a few of his delicious wines. At this point we were starting to get a bit rowdy. Thank you for your patience, and multiple bell rings to get our attention.... The Epicurean (Lunch) The Epicurean is located on Queen Street in Niagara on the Lake. It has great value for the price. Patio's and warm weather go well together!
We had a choice of several sandwiches, soup or salad, a cookie and a drink. The Epicurean patio was the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine. Hillebrand It was smiles all around when we arrived at Hillebrand. The tasting room at Hillebrand. Bob enjoyed walking in the Vinyard The Van De Camps had a fun day out. Coyote Run Estate Winery Coyote's Run was our final stop of the day. Another great wine tasting on the patio. The vinyard's at Coyote's Run Henry bought a few bottles after trying this year's red wines.
